Pastor Daryl Welch
Pastor Daryl is the Senior Pastor of Johnsontown Bible Church. He is the primary preaching pastor at the church. He joined Johnsontown in 2007 as the Youth Pastor, then became the Associate/ Youth Pastor at JBC in 2014, and became the Senior Pastor in 2021. Pastor Daryl received his undergraduate degree from Liberty university and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary.
Johnsontown Bible Church has had a long history of being the people of God called together as His church. JBC began, as we say, “back on the hill” at the old church. God has blessed since the church was started. We have grown, requiring many changes and a new location, but one thing has remained true: no matter where we meet, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. JBC is a church where your whole family can come and worship. We offer many ministries to meet the needs of the growing community.

What We Believe
Statement of Faith and Doctrine:
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired WORD OF GOD, His Revelation to man, inerrant in the original writings and that it is therefore the supreme and final authority in all matters of doctrine, faith and life (II Timothy 3:16-17).
The Trinity of the God-Head
We believe in one GOD, eternally existing in three person: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7).
Jesus Christ
We believe in the pre-existence (Ephesians 3:9), virgin birth (Luke 1:26-38), the sinless perfection, the bodily resurrection (Luke 24:36-39, John 20:28), and ascension into heaven (Acts 1:9-10), and that He is there now as our High Priest and Advocate (I John 2:1, Hebrews 2:17), and the fact that Christ is true GOD and true man (I John 5:7, John 10:27-33).
The Creation and Fall of Man
We believe man was created in the image of GOD (Genesis 1:26), that he disobeyed GOD and thereby incurred spiritual death (Genesis 2:16-17, Genesis 3), which is separation from GOD, and also physical death as a consequence; and that all of the Adamic race are born in sin (Psalms 51:5), and are sinners by nature and practice (Romans 3:9-11, 3:23).
The Death of Christ
We believe that the LORD Jesus Christ died for our sins as a vicarious (II Corinthians 5:20-21), substitutionary sacrifice (Hebrews 10:10. I Peter 3:18), and that all who believe in Him are saved on the basis of His shed blood (I Peter 1:18-19, Hebrews 9:22).
The New Birth
We believe that all who receive by faith the LORD Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:23), and thereby become children of GOD (John 3:3-7, Ephesians 2:8-9).

When We Meet
Sunday Morning Services:
Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 for Sunday school and at 10:30 for our morning worship service or online at www.facebook.com/JohnsontownBC. We want to have real and authentic worship of Jesus. We worship Jesus through all kinds of music and faithful preaching of the Bible, God’s Word. Come join us on a Sunday or check us out online.
Children’s Ministry During around 10:30 service, the children, ages k – 5th grade, have a time for them to learn and worship during our Jr. Church time that takes place halfway through the service.
Nursery
We have two rooms across from the sanctuary for mother’s and their infants if they need to us one of the rooms during the service.
We also provide a volunteer-staffed toddler nursery downstairs that is open for the whole service, for those that are big enough to roam around but not big enough for Jr. Church.
Wednesday Night
Ladies Bible Study 6:00 – 7:00
This is a time for the ladies to get together and study the Word of God and encourage one another
Youth Group 7:00 – 8:00
This is our time for our student ministry.
Adult Bible Study 7:00 – 8:00
Join us at 7:00 for a time of Bible Study and a time to boldly go before the throne of God in Prayer. We have a time of the lesson followed by the time of Prayer.
